Nao's Fandom Blog: Why WordGirl is My Favorite Show →

icecreamofjustice:

Before I explain the greatest part about this show, let me tell you a story.

It was a weekday afternoon, and four siblings sat in front of the TV, entertaining themselves with the many shows on PBS.
“Maya and Miguel” was on, but the kids weren’t watching that. No, they were waiting for “Arthur”…

all of this should be read.

ALL OF IT

THE BURRITO IS A GIANT ROBOT! (Though the foil wrap is so reflective it is hard to see the detail put into it when taking a picture… drat…)
Drawn from the WordGirl comic drawn by Steve Young.

woah! how did you get Steve to draw you a wordgirl thing?  This is rad

Derp-a-lerp. I should read things more closely

The originals were drawn over a year ago, so I tweaked them a bit before posting them. I’ll admit, I think I could have done better… but what the heck! It’s all in good fun. :-D More genderbends! Tobey = Teddy, Becky = Beck. XD

I just hope the fandom doesn’t disown me for this.

you should be hugged and kissed and MUAH MUAH MUAH for this.

I want you to gender bend everyone! I am so obsessed with the fans of wordgirl.

I’m Not a Joke is a campaign spreading awareness for the LGBTI community through art and design, created by Daniel Arzola (@Arzola_d) for the school of Visual Arts Rafael Monasterios in light of the recent violent acts against the sexually diverse community in Venezuela. It initially seeks to expand in the online community. If you’d like to share your opinion please do so via twitter using the hashtag #ImNotaJoke. Like our page on Facebook and share our designs to support our cause!

I’ve posted this before in Spanish, but here it is in English.

Anonymous asked: I wouldn't know if you've been asked this already and I'm not sure that you'd care too much because I'm kind of new to your blog but how do you feel about season 16 of Arthur. Sorry if you don't really have an opinion on this but I had to ask.

Hey random person or robot!

Uhh, I feel nothing? I haven’t seen it.

I am sorry to disappoint. I think I saw the first four episodes and stopped watching for some reason.
